I'm programming an AT89c51 with C language but I'd like to know if it is possible to include assembly code, for example a delay rotine.

I'm asking this because I'm connecting an LCD to the microcontroller but there are specific times I have to wait and it is easier to guarentee these times on assembly because I know how many time does any instruccion spend.

I need a delay routine > 4,1ms.
