#22542 - Flashing LED, makes dimmer? |
I am looking for an easy way to dim an LED through software.
My LED system is already constructed with about 40 LEDs on a 4094 shift-register serial->parallel layout, being driven by an 80c537. I haven't been able to find any info on using a reduced refresh rate to make certain LEDs dimmer. I was thinking that I would turn the LED on/off with each refresh instead of having it on constantly. Will this work to make an LED dimmer? Thanks John |
