#23159 - NoICE (or other debbuggers) questions |
Anybody using this debugger here?
I tried the demo version, it is working now on my 80c552 board. My problems: - I found no way to watch the P1 port (the program is working, single step is working, my simple code is working, LEDs are blinking on P1...). Maybe the watch shows the external RAM area and not the internal? Is it a bug, or I missed something? - How can I watch the internal RAM memory? - The program sometimes shows the C source code, sometimes not. I found a trick (start on project.noi, -no visible C source, break on the address of Main, exit NoICE, start again on project.noi, success...). Is it normal, is it a bug, or I missed something? - I don't clearly understand (after reading the manual and trying the program) what "scope" is? I like to try the Rigel Reads51 debugger too, but unfortunately I can't find the necessary RROS monitor code. (there is only the RROS5M16.hex on their download page, the freq is different) No source available? Or .hex for 11.059 MHz? My board: 80C552, 11.0592 MHz 0000-7fff eprom, 8000-ffff RAM The RAM OE is modified to run code: OE = RD and PSEN. |
