Imagine you want to produce 100,000 units.
Every dollar u save is well worth 100,000.
No point in designing a product very few people can afford to buy it.
And its time 8051 manufacturers added the reset supervisor chip inside the microcontroller like microchip.
I personally prefer pics for cost performance and onchip resources.
