#23812 - RE: AT89C51 in NC machine |
Hi Jon,
Very happy to get your respond . No, this old timer Amada turret punch Queen 342 operated by perforated tape, the only acess to the out side world was through the tape reader, an intergral part of the Fanuc control tower.and the damaged tape punch console is a separate item it has no physical connection to the system. It has a key board like my PC does and when I hit a key it punchs a one byte pattern of holes, no they don’t use ascii code they have code table of their own. That’s what my ideas of a box are for.but I’ll apreciate a description of the RS232 converter,it might be of great help. Thanks Khanh |
