#24045 - RE: Switching mains power. |
erik malund wrote: ------------------------------- you will be switching an awful lot of power = an awful lot of noise. Why not use zero-crossing optotriac to drive a triac? When switching on zero-crossing, there won't be current spikes and the triac won't suffer a fast current (di/dt) slope. Also, drive the triac for full cycles. You can use a MOC3041 optocoupler and a TIC226M triac (600V, 25A rms). Datasheets: (former mot products are now supplied by fairchild) www.fairchild.com www.powinv.com Regards, Txip. |
