#24089 - RE: How do i get started with the 8951?? |
Hi Sushil,
yes, it would make no sense to build one today. How this internal EEPROM programming work depends from the actual chip. So any manufacturer give out a special PC software for in system programing. E.g. from the Atmel Web you can get the FLIP software to download your program into the Atmel T89C51RD2 family. From Philips you can get the P89C51RD2, which works almost similiar. But you must use the Philips software to download a program into the P89C51RD2 family. Only if you work longer with the 8051 and want to burn your applications into cheaper (e.g. AT89C51) or smaller (e.g. AT89C4051) devices you can build your own programmer, e.g.: http://www.specs.de/~danni/to.../index.htm Peter |
