While we're on the subject, It would be nice to have an 'edit' option for the author, so I can fix all my typos...

As for the 'recommended reading' I would propose these be added to the FAQ, not as a dicussion, but as a proper FAQ subject.

Take for example my question about RST recently. I believe that my 10uf cap on the reset line is fine. EriK always uses a supervisor chip.

There was also a talk about the EA line in there in which one person said connect EA directly to +5 and another said use a 10K resistor.

That entire discussion could be chopped into a quick FAQ like :-


Q: How Do I connect RST?

A: You can either:-

Connect a 10uf Cap between RST and +5v

Or use a supervisor chip (e.g. the Dallas DSDS 1233)

etc....


If I post got voted 'a good read' maybe someone could edit it down, and then have it put the in FAQ.


Having said that, there's nothing to stop that being done now with some good posts.

If you like the idea, I'll edit, as long as someone can proof read for me :-)


Finally, can you make this edit box a bit wider? It doesn't go to the edges of the white border, and there's no reason why it couldn't is there? It makes reading you large posts (like this one) alot easier.
