sounds, you have changed the bootvector.

Have you not read the big red warning message in the Flash Magic software ?

"Setting the Boot Vector to a value other than the default of FCH (F8H for the
XA-G49) may result in the inability to run the BootROM on the device. This
will mean that the ISP features of the device cannot be accessed until the
device has been erased in a Parallel Programmer."
