Hi Kim,
if your contact point of the relay generate sparkle and melt together, then its definitively overloaded. You must use a bigger relay. But if your load need only high current at the beginning (e.g. lamps, motors, transformers, power supplies with big caps inside), then you can try using an inrush current limiter. Peter |
