#24988 - RE: embedded software engineer jobs?? |
Hi Shahzad, Azhar
I live in a 4th world country, but that doesnt stop me from beeing creative. There are alot of gaps in industry which you can fill in easily by yourself. An advantage if you work from home is that you dont have overhead costs to pay such as rent, taxes, salaries, bells etc. A factory had a PLC broken down, i designed them a single chip pic board with a couple of opto couplers and couple of transistors which did the job of the PLC. Now they are stuck with me and that would be one source of income. I think working for other companies is good if you are a begginer to gain lots of experience, but once you are a solo, you should start your own business. I was stuck with a regular low paid job and was working part time for my self, i used to earn 2 to 3 times more from my part time jobs than my full time job. There are lots of rich business men around with lots of money and no knowldge to invest it. Once you have a few collection of your own products you just show them some samples they will invest in you in no time. Regards Mahmood |
