Hi Jose,

if fast erase was an issue, then use pin compatible elctrically erasable MTP or Flash devices.

E.g. I used the MX26C512 during development instead the 27C512. The erase time was about 10 seconds.


But on all my today projects I use exclusively 8051 derivates with internal Flash.
