#25726 - RE: Power supply temperature problem |
"It is always best to parallel an electrolytic cap with a ceramic...."
We connected ceramic caps 100nF, X7R, SMD on both stabilisers on the board. This caps are connected on output pins certainly, with second ends on GND. We was disillusioned when the result was worse. The stab is going to oscillate on -5°C. It means under 10 °C higher temperature then with ellyt cap only. We have 4 layer PCB with Power and GND as inside layers. We can't make sens of this... ??? "Look at Sanyo OS-CON capacitors : http://www.secc.co.jp/english/ " We'll look at this link but we expect long delivery time. Time passes quickly. Thanks Vaclav |
