#26090 - RE: AT89c51 programmer
Ijaz,

if you are using 18v dc then why do you need the bridge rectifier? i was thinking of using a 230v-12V step down transformer, with a 1000uf/25V cap as filter so the dc optput will be approx. 16.7V with say 2V drop across the bridge i'll have 14.7V dc so i can still get 12.7V at the output. this is why i want to know if i could eliminate the need for that 13.1V level and still program the AT89c51 successfully with mr. asim khan's prgr. (the transformer is costlier than the At89c51 chip!!!)

anyway what do you think of the programmer that i menetioned earlier, the atmel application note thing?

cheers,

sushil

p.s. should i start a new thread??? this thread will be eased out soon i guess.
