Rams,

The cheap solution is a transistor.

More reliable solution is some voltage regulator with shutdown input.

You supply power to your slave 8051 with this regulator and control its shutdown input with your master 8051.

Is controlling the power necessary or you just want your slave to function for 2 seconds and stop functioning for 2 seconds?
