Thanks for the information backed up with facts from the reference sheets.

It was very confusing to me from the previous post in this thread as to what the standard 8051 was really doing during power down or power idle mode.


It's refreshing to see that someone really speaks from research rather than just spitting out whatever comes out of their memory.
