I wrote only two lines for a test. No other file and no any other variable.
Can someone please copy and past the following two lines in Keil or Ride and tell me why there is an error.

Uhhh. I DID paste your code into the V7.00 compiler and I got not errors. Since your error comes from the linker, I also suggested that you take a look at the memory map output in the linker list file. Did you do that?
