Now let's see: Unless someone refuted Ohm's Law while I wasn't looking, this would seem to suggest that your circuit needs protection against an inputvoltage of at least 880V. While it may be that this is actually correct, I seriously doubt that this true. For one thing, the resistor would heat up to several hundred °C in a very short time.... Please explain in more detail what you want to do and how you propose to do it. Best regards, Rob. |
