#27458 - RE: C compiler for 8051/52 |
Thankx for your input Hal.
I did do a little research on some C compilers that claimed that they are ANSI compliance, but .... they seemed like they tend to be "self-propierity" to me. Since I take some examples written from one C (ANSI)compiler supplier and use it with the other C (ANSI) compiler, of course I also throw in the header file (*.H) for that particular example file for the other C (ANSI) compiler but it always gives errors. I thought that if any C compilers for 8051/52 that is support ANSI standard, it should be compiled the other as well as long as the source and header file that requires go with it. Do I missing something here. or is there any "trick" can get arround to work for those claimed C (ANSI) compilers ?? Any folks out there have these experiences. Please let me know. Thanks, |
