Hobbyists, skip this
without too much problems. When the XA was just out I worked in a company where we "beta tested" a "C" compiler for the XA (all was VERY new). The cost of not believing the result from the compiler was horrendous. Every programming glitch was blamed on the compiler and yours truly had to prove through looking at the assembler code (I worked with a bunch of folks that understood C only) that it was not the compiler, but the code. If a believable, reliable compiler is availaible do not skimp on the investment in tools. Erik |
