Hi Azhar,
You could consider the 8051 a CISC processor with its 254 instructions and its original 12 cycle execution time, as compared to an AVR with its 100 instructions or a PIC with its 35 instructions, both typically executing in one cycle. The AVR is probably borderline RISC, the PIC certainly is. Dennis |
