You have given This Link and the only limitation of that code is it can only read/write data to raw sectors, so whos bothered more. You can try IBMs new MICRO-Drives, interface them with your board and create your own database (data logger software, which does not need fat32 or anything as long as you dont want to directly link it up to a PC. Ofcourse, you can later attach it to a PC and with appropriate software, read it up and do what ever you want to).
I'd be following this link (how well it would be if I can add it to 'MY Favourite links' so that I can update myself of the new answers...
