Yes, to evaluate ones own works and convert it to the monatory terms requires a true experience, It mostly results in favor of the buyer side not of the designer.

Although not directly related with the thread, here is a query of mine, if you don`t mind.

How a product you have developed and you thought it has a commercial value for industry, can be marketted to a buyer side who is supposed to manufacture it for himself. I am just talking about only selling a project with a working sample.
Is there an URL you know for such activity?
