#29027 - Philips or Atmel? |
I'm starting a new project using 8051. It will have a quad UART plus the 8051 uart, 64k Ram, an I2CHIP (Hardware TCP/IP) and 2 Alteras (one flash, one Ram based).
One uart will be for an IHM (Human-machine interface) with a 2x20 LCD, 6 leds and 6 buttons. One uart will be used to receive frames from another equipment. The 8051 onboard uart will be for ISP and a serial terminal. The two others will communicate with slaves equipments. Which flavor of 8051 do U think will be the best for this? I'm thinking in use 89C51RD2, but I'm not sure about using it from Philips or Atmel. I had lots of trouble with AT89S8252 from Atmel and now i'm a litte afraid of the erratas for RD2 too. If U could help me it would be great! Thanks in advance, Evandro Zilio de Souza |
