Beware: the standard 'C' Escape Sequence 'n' means, "the implementation-defined end-of-line sequence" So, depending on your compiler, 'n' could mean CR, LF, CRLF or possibly even something else! (in Keil, it's just LF; in Borland, I think it's CRLF) For cases like yours, where it matters specifically what character you want, it's better to use the ASCII code directly; eg, #define CR 0x0D #define LF 0x0ABTW: please register & login, so that you can use the 'pre' tags to preserve the formatting when posting 'C' source code; it's almost illegible without :-( |
