You (Donald Catto) mean that even PC have multiple bus speed options but there PCI connections work on same speed (which may be the lowest option like 66Mhz compatible in 66Mhz, 100Mhz and 133Mhz options)?
Also Michael Karas what is dynamic impedance thing, can you explain.
Also i wanted to know that if over all system speed (i mean master clock) is lowered then will PCI peripheral work on low speed. I didnot ask about how to slow down the main CPU but i want PCI peripherals to work on way low speed like with 8051.
Also i am concern about the software control of PCI peripherals. Do i have to find/purchase and understand the driver of PCI peripherals.
