I don't use a simluator becasue I have other really easy ways of just downloading code into a Cygnal development platform......But I would like to venture a guess that an 8052 simulator maybe doesn't emulate 115200 baud on the port simply because the standard architecture 8052 that it is trying to simulate cannot transmit that fast.
