#31581 - RE: Accuracy, Steve: |
Hi,
Wel, it depends all on the budget and the intended application that will allow me a figure for accuracy. I think an accuracy of +/- 1 Celsius would be good enough ??? Or would it be in %age ?? The K type TC that I got has an accuracy of +/- 5 deg. C that means at high temperatures like at 300 deg. it will either let me read 315 or 285 provided the other snags like CJ compensation have already been taken care of and the low accuracy does not gross up with other problems in the design. The other TC with +/- 0.1 deg. C accuracy is too costly. So it all depends on what I want to do. I have to develop only an above-average kind of TC based thermo-controller. Which does not involve life saving applications :) Now you suggest what accuracy I should target. Regards Babar |
