You want a floating point result ? You asked about integer division, or implied it with your previous posting ! If you want to code it yourself, use Fixed point arithmetic, possibly with only 16 bit numbers or 32 bit probably. Read and inwardly digest Craig's excellent tutorial on multi-byte arithmetic, or if your project works stick with the basic version. Steve |
