#32190 - ST New uPD3200
I have a project where i need 24keys keypad, a 24x4LCD display, some control out signals and few sensors IN signals.

That may easily be laid out by using any of 8051 or variants, but pin-count and security is an issue. I solved the pin-count problem by using two micros (89C52)and established communication between them, one dedicated for LCD-Display and keypad and another one is Main processor. But Security is still an issue left!

I saw and downloaded all informations from SG website about uPD3200. I guess this could be a solution for me, but this is bit too technical for me to understand the operation and to get intrepreted the information in easy understandable format (for me).

I need a flash code memory of around 32K and a small piece (48bytes) of non-volatile RAM.
In-circuit programming capability will also offer a great help to me.

any suggestion, how may i go if i want to use uPd3200. Is there any place where i can get a step-by-step procedure?

Thanks

Rauf
