This code I posted I got from a fellow student who used it for taking the output of a temperature sensor. He then calibrated it to output degrees and also used it to output to a pc.

I thought maybe it would be suitable given that it should make a difference whether it is a temperature sensor or an accelerometer sensor - but it looks like it does.

Thanks for all your efforts, I will keep battling away with it.
