#32988 - RE: more than 16 bits timers ? Jez |
Well,
My purpose was to design a simple hardware. Using a CPLD is not so interresting because of the cost. ALTERA MAX7000 which are the cheaper I've found costs about 10$ here in France. In this case, the dividers by 10 are still the best solution even if the hardware is over sized ... Mmmm.... I'm going to investigate more, I've founded something interresting on the net, using only a prescaler and a microcontroller. Rob had right, I've made a stupid mistake in conversion between micro and nanoseconds... oups ! Well, I'll tell you if I can find a cheap solution.... |
