One could make an 8-pin DIL package MCU module by mounting a Cygnal C8051F305 onto a small PC board with 8 header posts on it. The 'F305 is in a very small 3x3mm MPL-11 package that would easily fit between two rows of header pins that were arranged as below:
The square in the middle is the 'F305 and the adapter would be 0.4 inches square. Michael Karas |
