#34400 - In-System Programming (ISP) from EEPROM |
I plan a new project with 8052, maybe one from
Philips. But all 8052 project's have a problem: If I would like run other code, I must the project connect to my computer and transfer the other code ... So ... my idea is that: I have maybe two programs for my project. I copy the code on a EEPROM, the second code on a second EEPROM. Now - if I would like to change the program, I turn off the power, switch the EEPROM and turn the power on. Then, the code from EEPROM became copy with SPI to the 8052. It's like a old game console, with modules. But no panic - I would like not build a game console :-) So .... maybe some user have a idea, if this works, or not... Greetings, Thorsten |
