#34411 - RE: In-System Programming (ISP) from EEP
Why ponder all this hard work. Your time has to be worth something. You should consider purchasing an eval card such as those at Cygnal Integrated Products. With these the process of putting a new program into into the FLASH memory of the target controller is SO simple. You use a ready made program in the IDE and it goes out via the Serial Port of the PC, through a JTAG adapter and to the JTAG connector pins on the side of the Cygnal processor. And then the same IDE software has a source level debugger that let you debug the code running at full target speed, WITH BREAKPOINTS, right from the target processor FLASH memory!!.

You can have all that plus a CD with the Keil tools on it for $99 US. (The Keil C compiler on the CD is a limited to 4K bytes version).
