Well, I hadn't ever seen such a cable before either!
If you do have such a cable, it would be essential to ensure that you connect it the right way around!! (RS232 end to the PC) Also, Note that the one cited by Donald requires power to be supplied at the microcontroller end - so you will also have to provide those connections! |
