FYI:
For some reason, the GPS receiver I'm using doesn't output NMEA messages...it outputs a binary message which scales latitude and longitude values to +/- 54,000,000 and +/- 108,000,000, respectively. Degrees are multiplied by 600,000 and minutes are multiplied by 10,000.
