Uumm using a MAX232 chip would be a very very very bad idea as the MAX232 is a 5v chip.
You can however use the MAX3232 which is a 3.3v version of the same chip. I made a smiliar interface for my Siemens C25 a few years back. I'll see if I can dig up the schematics. Most designs of such interfaces use a MAX232 with a few doides in between to scale down the voltage. |
