Hi Peter,
I thought about doing that, but it seem like too much overhead if you're running at 19.2k BAUD. If I did my math correctly, then for 19.2k BAUD, I'd get a T1 interrupt every ~3 microsecond. That's too much overhead for my purpose. By the way, how did you come up with 16 interrupts per 10 bits or is that 10 interrupts per bit?

you can enable the T1 interrupt and count 160 interrupts for every character (10 bits a 16 T1 overflows).



So for four chars you must count 640 times of the T1 overflow.
