I understand what you said, but I didn't say that you have to PRINT your string to the LCD, did I? What you do is to create a formatted string (that's what you needed) in memory using the printf format- and width specifiers and THEN you transfer the result to the LCD using your own routines. Take a look at printf() and all that goes with it and you will see what I mean. |
