I cannot comment on the technical suitability of either of the two methods suggested, lacking experience in both. But still, I'd say, all things considered, RS-485 "Industry standard" card trumps all other arguments. Think future requirements, extensibility and compatibility. Correct me if I am wrong... kundi |
