#37509 - RE: boot lost: who could program with // prg
Hi Stephane.

I have played a litle with my programmer and a p89c664. I've also read the datasheet once again, and read Eric's comments. He is right; all we have to do, is program the Boot Vector to have the value 0xFC.

That can only be done in a paralel programmer. Once set, the chip will be as good as new, an you can use Flash Magic.

And then you can implement Erics tips and tricks, to avoid funny things to happen agian.

If I got it right, Eric?

And, yes, stephane, i still agree, but you dont have to mail me any hex file - just the chips. I'll (re)program, and mail them back.

Ha' en sjov dag
