Apropos of my earlier comments about free IP for CPLD and FPGA, I have now found this lot.
http://www.opencores.org They have free (as in speech, not beer) cores for lots of useful functions, including I note a CORDIC unit. The 8051 core is still a work in progress. I wish I knew enough VHDL to help with that one. And STILL no 8255 :-( Steve |
