I have gone through the 8051 tutorial. The timer selection is quiet difficult , is there any other website where there are tutorial like this.
Can some one please expalin me how to write codes for a clock using Timer and not using timer.
In case of not using timers ,

1) i will firstly find out how many instruction i need for generating a 1 minute delay:-
My Crystal / 12 = answer in micro-seconds

then divide that answer / 1 Minute = No. of instuction to generate 1 minute delay.

then using the NESTED LOOPS and delay command to generate 1 minute delay and after that each 1 minute completion using INC commmand to generate 1 increment in some register.

Iam on the right track , next tell me how to write program to bring the info on 7-segement display, common anode , suing 74ls343
