#38795 - Flowcharts - Yes / No |
Dear members, I have a simple question. Any book on MCU programming generally advises to start with a flowchart and develop the code. OK in my case I am a 100% assembly guy and I find that drawing flowcharts is sort of superfluous effort. Most of the coding is modular with well documented sub routines and I just reuse them. Except for the rare instance of doing a short challenging code on a paper napkin that is available nearby or on a fairly empty space on a newspaper!! Now for the confession - how many of the more experienced programmers of this forum start a project with a flowchart ? ( Except when the customer wants it ) Thanks Raghu PS : In case the topic is too trivial, just ignore it - no flames please. Thanks |
