As we're talking obviously to a novice here, and as many readers are not native English speakers, I think slang like "mikes" (and archaic aberrations like "MFD") is probably best avoided. In fact, the proper notation uF [1] is actaully quicker & easier to type here! Let's set the newbies a good example by using proper terminology! [1] OK, we can excuse the 'u' in place of a proper Greek 'mu', yes? |
