#39335 - Port Voltage |
hi
I connected the port2 pins of the 89c51rc2hbp controller to a LED. The other side of LED was connected to ground. I then worte a program to send 1's to some of the port 2 pins. when i measured the voltage at these pins, they were very low and the LED only lit up very dim. I read from the data sheet that all POrt 0,1,2 & 3 use internal pull up resistor when emitting 1's. so in that case, why does it not supply about 5v? regards george |
