I forgot to mention that I am doing all of this as unsigned char or unsigned int data types so basically this means that I am not using any negative numbers (hence the reason I don't know which quadrant I am in)
Otherwise I could run the same function again with acos and that would give me the offset required to determine which quadrant I was in. Marshall |
