On the Bismarck, I will have the following items:

1. Gun turrets (4) each with elevation, fire control, traverse, loader and possible breach control.
2. Motor control. H-bridge with possible RPM sensor.(Previous post.) 2 or 3 motors.
3. Bilge pump control. 1 to 4 pumps.
4. Rudder control.

My concern with the water hinges, on the need to continue operating in a partially filled hull. If the ship is damage and combat in-effective, the others (enemy) will close in and sink me as soon as they realize I am not fighting back. I wanted to use multiple nodes especially on the guns to keep them as drop in modules. I also want to adapt the basic system to ships with many more guns and or different configurations. (i.e. Texas.(5 turrets) Iowa (3 turrets).)

Do you thing the network would work even if bridged by water?
