You didn't read the article, did you? :o) Most, but not all GPS receivers do indeed have a pps (pulse-per-second) output. This signal is usually within +/- 1µs from UTC, although there are special 'time receivers' that are much more accurate; somewhere in the order of 30ns! Rob. |
